The end user is a department of Bradesco that takes care of innovative projects and the implementation of innovations in both administrative processes and customer service. Our mission was to create a space that, in addition to being innovative and passing this image, would have to propose environments and solutions that promote innovation itself, creative thinking, interaction and collaboration of users. The client’s logo, a geodesic sphere where all points communicate and are interconnected, already suggested an aesthetic and conceptual way to base the concept of design. The entire office is permeated by walls formed by polygons that refer to the logo. All with a unique format, designed one by one to meet specific functions and enhance the architecture and distribution of spaces. Their irregular shapes make transit through the office always interesting and different. The walls and their shapes, revealed by spots installed on rails, can be constantly illuminated in different ways, due to the characteristic and malleability of the lighting solution chosen. Shaw’s Hexagon carpet plays an important role in the conceptual and aesthetic composition of the office. It reinforces and complements the polygonal shapes of the walls, passing on the message that collaborative work, that is, the sum of the individualities and capacities of each team member, forms a more creative and innovative set than their separate individuals.
The complexity of the forms we had to build within a short period of time was our greatest challenge in this project. We developed the technique of polygonal shape construction during the execution of the work and, even so, we obtained a result with a great finish, respecting with exactitude the projected shapes. The final result of the project exceeded our expectations, because it is a space with unique characteristics that surprises everyone who visits it.
