The client is known for providing office spaces where people want to go to work, and is committed to maintaining a healthy work-life balance. The priority for the new seven-story building was to create an innovative, collaborative and energetic environment that incorporated and reinforced the client’s core values. Corporate colors and branding identity concepts were integrated throughout the building. In addition to being committed to a sustainable environment (the project is in review for LEED Gold certification), the client is committed to the community and philanthropic endeavors as well. The new HQ is created specifically as an anchor building to revitalize an aging outdoor retail and office complex, where the presence of the client is bringing vibrancy to the community with its state-of-the-art interiors and technology. The client has been inspiration to the entire city, with humble beginnings as a St Louis startup that has grown to global proportions with most clients in the Fortune 100, and has become one of St. Louis’ largest privately-owned companies and biggest employers.
Within the project, many types of spaces are available to employees to hold meetings, socialize, or work alone. With many types of multi-purpose room types, the way spaces are used change throughout the day. The Work Café provides varied dining options with views and heads-down areas as well as community dining areas. Movable walls often get reconfigured as the company’s needs change, and the flooring patterns remain fresh and bold as spaces take different shapes and purposes.
