The main challenges of this project is to achieve the needs of a more spacious working space for church foundations, that is highly functional, enjoyable to works, and inspires it’s people, as it is growing continuously. Also act as a worship and gathering place for the Christian people especially the young ones. The different functions of the office are merged in a coherent way yet continuously forming unity in one space. This approach is to ensure that each of these functions, despite being different, are equally important and yet they complemented each other as a foundations. The open plan layout is chose for the main part of the office to create more space and to ensure the communications keep flowing between the people. This strategy helps the people to work together as a team more effectively and efficiently. The dominant selection of bright colors, transparent materials and decorative greenery in the design are combined to give the energetic, livable and fresh feels to the working spaces so the people are more relaxed and naturally more focused to complete the task they are given to. Modern and simple geometry shapes, dark tone colors, metals and wooden materials are used to gives the mature feels and emphasizes the formality of a working space. The fusioned layout of the several spaces that have different main function, such as : office, meeting room, lounge, cafeteria, gymnasium, worship room and a prayer room, All to ensure the welfare and the balance of the physical and spiritual aspects of the people as the main assets for the foundation’s future.
The spaces are designed to give the inhabitants different choice approaches for works. For those who are not used to working in a formal office-type layout, they can use the open lounge or the adjoining bar respectively for working via a laptop. The cafeteria that can be accessed directly from the office via a corridor, also can be used as an informal working place and a place to eat and hangout with the co-workers at the same time. The meeting rooms positioned directly next to the open lounge, separated only with a glass partition so it’s visually blends into one space. This design approach encourages the people to do meetings and gatherings more often in informally and more relaxed atmosphere.
