In our point of view, it’s the task of an interior architect to thoroughly develop a project that determines its own values and detaches itself from the current interior image of the times. To push our own boundaries, we have formed creative coalitions with diverse specialists. We have collaborated with stairs constructors, light designers and 3D printing artists. We have challenged ourselves to design a challenging interior. Challenging to its users, inspiring, tantalizing. Because an interior is an instrument to positively impact people today and in the future. We have mixed traditional values with future techniques, natural references (Shaw Affluence) with graphic patterns and soft shapes with impressive compositions. This total set-up has led to an interior in which the client can present itself as a “Powerhouse that remains friendly” and its employees can develop their knowledge and talent in a comfortable and inspiring work environment every day. An interior with a quality feel, a human scale and a peaceful atmosphere.
Despite the law office’s traditional cell-office structure, we have created a transparent and light workspace. Additionally, an open staircase connection promotes the interaction between the different floor levels. A true connector is the 7th floor, which has been developed as a grand cafe annex hotel lobby, where work and life merge and people meet, eat and work in a relaxed way. From a barista to a cocktail bar, a lunch restaurant, open informal meeting suites and a roof terrace with an amazing view on the Zuid-as, Amsterdam’s hottest career-boosting district. An office building in which you can live, develop, communicate and work (hard).
