This was a very unique corporate office space we designed as a satellite office for a larger company. The biggest hurdle we ran into, was the client not knowing how or what they wanted to use their satellite office for. There were many conversations among internal management whether the space would be traditional office layout with closed offices, one large conference room for events and company meetings, modern office of the future, or team meeting workspace. In addition, the CEO envisioned the space to look like the Four Seasons, all within a corporate tenant interior budget.
After many months of design and space plan iterations, we had full management buy-in for a co-working office space, that would double as a showcase event space. We designed all pockets of huddle space with flexible furniture, easily reconfigured for small or larger events. Their “reception/entry table” can quickly be moved on casters to other locations in the space for catering and additional work space as needed. Their non-traditional open break room dual-acted as their large TV presentation space for large events, and furniture could be relocated and moved as necessary to allow for higher occupancy.
